INFORMATION ON CLAY & FIRING TEMPERATURE
When submitting your workpieces, it is essential to specify the clay and glazes used.
TIME / FIRING
Clay needs time to dry and fire. In order not to consume energy unnecessarily, I would like to fill the kiln optimally. Depending on demand, this can take several weeks.
LIABILITY
The person delivering the clay is liable for any transport damage. No liability is accepted for cracks or deformation during drying or firing. The studio may demand compensation for glaze marks on the firing plate. In the event of damage to the kiln or the kiln plates due to the use of the wrong clay, glaze or firing temperature, compensation will be claimed. Participants must have liability insurance. A corresponding form will be signed on the first visit.
PRICE SURCHARGE OR DISCOUNT
A surcharge is levied for small workpieces and a discount is granted for very large workpieces. If additional work is required for workpieces (e.g. removal of glaze on the support surface), a surcharge will also be charged.
PAYMENT
Payment can be made in cash or by TWINT. Payment for the course is due on the first evening. The amount for the workpieces is due before the firing.
